To approach furnaces and areas of intense heat, the ISOWARM® DLC03/801/XX hood combines a 100% para-aramid Kevlar® fleece, a felt insulation and a Proban®-treated cotton lining. Version with drawstring and with collar. The drawstring adjusts the hood around the face and the collar extends protection over the neck.
Glassworks, industrial maintenance, furnace work: for approaching areas of intense heat, without molten metal splashes. Wear it with the Kevlar® fleece jacket DLV10/8XX/XX and trousers DLP10/8XX/XX, and preferably with the aramid balaclava DLC30/1XX/XX.
Which standards does this hood meet? EN ISO 11612 : 2015 (A1 B3 C4 F3) and EN ISO 13688.
What is the difference between the DLC01, DLC02 and DLC03 hoods? Same material and performance: DLC01 has no drawstring and a collar, DLC02 a drawstring and no collar, DLC03 a drawstring and a collar.
Does it protect against molten metal splashes? No: in that case, choose ISOWARM® aluminised equipment.
